Lenny’s 80th “Surprise” Birthday Party

My mommy fell down and really hurt herself just before this party. We had been planning this party for over a year. It was so important to us both. She was determined to make it to this party no matter what, so we hired two nurses from the hospital to help escort her to the party.

Jim and Susie drove in from Arizona, Tom and Wendy flew in from Florida, Moshe and his family flew in from Israel, family and friends came from all over the world to be at this party to honor my dad.

Jim was the host, Tom assembled a video presentation, Frank got the PA system for us, Jens, Mike and others helped locate people from all over. It was wonderful and really was a surprise… that in itself is a surprise if you knew my mommy.
