About my embroidery

At my families recent holiday gathering, one of my young cousins asked to see some photos of my embroidery. So I thought I’d put some up for him to see, and maybe you too.

Most of my embroidery/sewing projects I’ve given away. I’ve made several quilts, an apron with the 12 days of Christmas embroidered on it, a large felt Christmas tree with 24 embroidered pockets for candy and a star that starts at the bottom and works it’s way to the top of the tree, as it gets closer to Christmas. Of course lots of towels. One of the most elaborate was the one I made my brother for his 50th birthday. When ever a project didn’t come out just right, I kept it for myself, and a few I even made just me. They are on the next page. You can click the name/link or the button on the left.

The one project I did for someone else that is displayed on one of the following pages is Frankie’s Quilt. I did all the embroidery and sewed the center pieces of the quilt. When I couldn’t finish it, my cousin Evonne had to make the actual quilt.

On my embroidery web site I talk about my first embroidery machines, show a couple of the first designs I digitized for myself and lots of links to other embroiders and some free embroidery design swaps.

You’ll find that at: Http://www.kepela.com (or just click the name/link on the left).

On the following pages are the designs I have and did for myself, to give you an idea of what I enjoy the most.
